What this site is
PEI Local Businesses at peilocalbusinesses.ca is a free, searchable directory for businesses and organizations that serve Prince Edward Island. We do notclaim to be the province's largest directory, and we do not guarantee Google rankings or a specific number of customer leads.
Who can list
- Businesses, nonprofits, and organizations that operate in or serve PEI — including storefronts, home-based businesses, mobile services, and island-wide providers.
- Franchises and regional firms with a PEI location or service area (for example gyms, accounting networks, or law firms).
- Public attractions and institutions listed for visitor information when relevant to the directory.
We use local businesses serving PEI— not “Island-owned only.” Listings should represent real, reachable businesses with accurate contact details.
What “Listed” means
A Listed badge means our team reviewed the submission (or added the profile from public business information) and published it on peilocalbusinesses.ca. It is not a legal certification, government endorsement, or guarantee of quality. Business owners should keep hours, phone numbers, and websites up to date — report corrections via Contact.
Reviews and ratings
We do notdisplay star ratings or review counts on this site unless they come from a verified, on-page review system in the future. For reputation and feedback, we encourage customers to use each business's Google Business Profile or other established review platforms.
How submissions are reviewed
- Owner or representative submits the free listing form.
- We check for a real PEI connection, working contact info, and appropriate category.
- Approved listings go live — usually within 1–2 business days.
- We may edit obvious typos or remove listings with false or misleading information.
